Guide to adding images to pages

this is a rough guide to putting an image into a page, for example, the image on the right of matt and Pip (always knew thy'd set an example for us all):

copy and paste the following into the html view of the body of the page you are editing:

<div style="border: 1px solid #aaa;
       padding: 3px 0px 3px 3px;
       background: #eee;
       float: right;
       margin-left: 0.5em;
       text-align: center;">
<a href="index.php?q=node/34"> <!-- link to the image page -->
  <img style="border: 1px solid #aaa;" src="files/images/p+m_0.thumbnail.jpg" /> <!-- image thumbnail -->
  <br />
  zoom in!</a>
  <br />
</div>

 you need to edit the bold bits:

where it says index.php?q=node/34 you need to change this to be the link to the image you actually want, ie. go to the image you want, and copy the address from the address bar here.

 where it says "files/images/p+m_0.thumbnail.jpg"you need to change the image file name, the best way to do this is to just right click the thumbnail you want, and press "copy image location," then paste it here.

 and the input format (below the body section) has to be set to "Full HTML"

any questions?
